Prayer Strategy

PRAY FOR OUR NATION, OUR PRESIDENT AND LEADERS IN POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY.

^{1Ti 2:1} I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone

^{1Ti 2:2} for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness

Rom 13:1 Everyone must obey state authorities, because no authority exists without God’s permission, and the existing authorities have been put there by God.

Pray that Godly leaders will be appointed who will serve our Nation in the Fear of The Lord.
Pray for justice to prevail in our nation.
Pray that bribery and corruption will be rooted out and effectively dealt with at the highest levels.
Pray that the Kingdom of God will come in our nation, our Government, Schools, Tertiary Institutions, Public Services and in every sphere of South African Society and Culture.
Pray against State Capture and Corruption at all forms of Government and within S.O.E`s

PRAY FOR ECONOMIC STABILITY

2 Chron 7:14 NKJV “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Pray for financial blessings on God’s children.
Pray for import and export opportunities.
Pray for financial wisdom.
Pray for economic growth, investment and job creation in South Africa.
Pray against State Capture and Corruption at all forms of Government and within S.O.E`s

P.A.C.T- PRAYING AGAINST CRIME TOGETHER

Matt 18:19-20 NKJV “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Pray for the safety of our Police Services
Pray for our police officers to have Godly wisdom and insight.
Pray for our police to obtain information needed to have breakthroughs and make arrests.
Pray that God will intervene in the lives of criminals.
Pray against serious crimes committed
Pray also against eco-crimes causing environmental damage.
Pray against drug related crimes
Pray against crime syndicates (drugs, fraud, theft, cash heists, etc.).
Pray against and bind the spirit of domestic violence and abuse in our country, intolerance, rape and murder
Pray for the victims of crime and their families. (Forgiveness)

GOD’S KINGDOM-LIFESTYLE

Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Pray for the vision of your church. (The heart of the Kingdom)
Pray that the reality of the Christ-centred life and His Kingdom will be discovered with greater understanding in every household across the nation and His will be done in our nation and our church.
Pray that the lives of sinners, backsliders, the lukewarm and compromisers will be touched by us and that God’s Kingdom-lifestyle, Kingdom-culture and Kingdom values will manifest throughout the Church.
Pray for unity in the Body of Christ throughout our nation and church.
Pray that we will once again begin to see the value of community life and practice it!
Pray the LORDS prayer!!! Matt 6:9-13

MORALS

2Co 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Pray that Godly moral values be instilled/restored in the Church at large, in our government and in every community across our nation.
Pray that the name of the Lord will be declared in our parliament, schools and other institutions.
Pray that the Kingdom of God will come in every sphere of the government.
Pray that all forms of idolatry will be wiped out and that all forms of witchcraft will be exposed and destroyed.

FAMILIES AND MARRIAGES

Job 1:10 NKJV “Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”

Isa 54:17 NKJV “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.”

Continue to pray for the protection of all families and marriages.
We pray for every member of our church, that God will place a hedge of protection around every home and family.
We ask that God will keep all harm and violence away from our members and their families, even those who are not saved.
We call every unsaved family member into the Kingdom of God and pray that God will prepare their hearts to receive His message of hope and life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for preservation, restoration and healing of marriages.
Pray for healing in our families and that God will restore broken relationships and bring unity between children and parents.
Pray for financial victory and work for those who are unemployed and that God will meet our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

PRAY FOR THE YOUTH AND CHILDREN OF OUR NATION

Prov 22:6 NKJV “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Prov 12:1 NKJV “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.”

Pray for the youth of our nation that God will afford many opportunities for them to hear the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to come to the knowledge of salvation.
Pray for families – that the hearts of parents will be restored to their children; and the hearts of the children will be restored to their parents.
Pray that all educators will have the mind of Christ in training up our young people with godly wisdom.
Pray that the culture of violence will be broken.
Pray that the youth will protect their purity.
Pray for God to raise up a generation of young people that will live in the fear of the Lord.
Bind the spirit of addiction among our young people.
Pray for job creation and that youth entering the work market will find meaningful employment.

PRAY FOR RHEMA FAMILY CHRISTIAN CENTRE

Act 2:47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Pray for Pastors ,leaders and Congregation.
Pray for RFCC Church Vision and Mission.
Pray for Spiritual, Physical, Financial and Social wellbeing of our congregation.
Pray for Church finances.
Pray for growth, Holy Spirit anointing and unity.
Pray for committed Leaders and contributors.
Pray that the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST will be proclaimed and the Kingdom of God extended in the greater Illovo and surrounding areas.
